I'm looking to upgrade my PC from a MSI B650 Tomahawk motherboard, which currently supports 2x 16GB of .skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM. I want to know if it's possible to swap it for a motherboard that can handle 4x 16GB of the same RAM. Any recommendations on motherboards that could support this setup? If it's a silly question, I understand!

The main concern isn't typically the motherboard itself, but rather the memory controller on your CPU. Most AM5 memory controllers struggle to manage four RAM modules at full speed. You might want to consider trading your 4x16GB for 2x32GB instead, as it could be more efficient.

Got it! Maybe that's the best route, I’ll look into some trades then.
