Over the past year, I've been collecting input from various departments involved in the new hire process, but I'm feeling overwhelmed by the options available since I haven't tackled this in my career before. Currently, I'm looking into using Power Automate to establish triggers and dependencies, while allowing some processes to remain manual. I'm hoping to hear about the specific tools and solutions that you have successfully implemented for onboarding in your organization. Any suggestions that would steer me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

If you're leaning towards Microsoft solutions, you should definitely explore Power Automate. There are even some ready-to-use onboarding templates over on GitHub that can save you quite a bit of time when setting things up!
We find that using the combination of Entra, Intune, and Autopilot makes onboarding a lot easier, but the installation process can be a bit tricky. Sometimes it requires a lot of adjustments to get everything working as intended.

Since we're pretty invested in Microsoft tools, I'll give that a look! It could fit well with our current setup.
