What PC parts should I upgrade for gaming?

I'm pretty new to computers and looking for some advice on upgrading my setup for gaming. My current specs are an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 Quad Core Processor running at 3.10 GHz, and I have a 64-bit OS. I believe I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. I'd love to play games like Battlefield 6, but I know my graphics card won't meet the minimum requirement of an RTX 2060. Any suggestions on what parts I should consider upgrading?

What kind of RAM, motherboard, and power supply are you using? Upgrading to a new CPU like the 5600 or 5600X and getting a new GPU is key, depending on how much you're willing to spend.

I thought I had checked everything, but I only know that I have 8 GB of RAM, which is pretty low.

What's your budget for upgrades? A solid option could be the Ryzen 5 5600, but you'll probably need to update the BIOS twice. For the GPU, something like the RTX 5060 Ti or RX 9060 XT would be a great upgrade.

OP will probably need to check the powersupply and RAM. With an older setup, you might only have 8 or 16 GB.

I wouldn’t want to spend more than $1,500-$2,000, since I'm new to this world. I'm more of a console gamer.

You've got a lot of room to upgrade! I'd recommend looking at an AMD 5000 series processor, and for your GPU, get whatever fits your budget. Even upgrading to something in the RTX series will give you a massive boost!
