As I advance in my career, I've realized that formal project management training could really benefit me, especially for internal projects and collaborative efforts with other business units. For those of you who have pursued this, which project management certifications or training programs have you found helpful?

From my experience, the PMP certification is highly regarded in the industry. It's tough but worth it if you're serious about project management. I can't speak for everyone, but I've had some mixed experiences with project managers—some are invaluable, while others aren't very helpful at all.
For anyone working in IT, I think ITIL is essential. If you want to dive deep into project management itself, PMP is the way to go.
You should definitely look into what project management methodologies your company is using. Is it Waterfall, Agile, or just a general mess? Getting a certification that aligns with your company’s approach can be really useful.
