Hey everyone! I have an i5 10400F CPU paired with an Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti and 8GB of RAM. I'm trying to figure out whether I should stick with 1080p or go for 1440p for gaming. Any thoughts?

Honestly, I'd say stick with 1080p. With only 8GB of VRAM, you're going to run into some limitations as games get more demanding.

1080p is probably the way to go. Just a heads-up, are you referring to the 8GB VRAM on your graphics card or 8GB of system RAM? If it's the latter, you might want to think about upgrading to 16GB or even 32GB for better performance overall.

It really depends on how you plan to use your PC. For lighter games, 1440p should work fine, but for more graphically intense games, you might struggle a bit unless you're okay with dialing back some settings or using DLSS. Overall, 1080p might be the safer bet for your build.

A cool trick is to set your game resolution to 1440p with super sampling first and see how it performs before making your decision. You can also check out benchmarks for your games at that resolution to get a better idea.
