I've noticed that many website demos here use a specific screen recording or editing software that seems to 'track' the cursor's movements, zooming in when the cursor interacts with certain elements and zooming out afterwards. It's a bit tricky to explain. Does anyone know what tool this is?

Loom is a solid choice! We use it for our demos and to explain CMS features, and it's pretty user-friendly.
You might be thinking of either Camtasia or ScreenFlow. They do a great job of zooming in on clicks and following the cursor, making for very polished demos. I’d say a lot of the high-quality demos you’ve seen likely used one of these.
Definitely Loom! It's reliable and straightforward for demo purposes.
Canvid or Screen Studio could be what you're looking for, too! Those have some nice features for dynamic presentations.
I’ve been using JumpShare for quite some time, but honestly, I can’t pinpoint why it suits my style. I’ve tried a ton of options, and this one just clicked with me. I think every software has its quirks, so it might take some experimenting to find what you prefer!
I mentioned in another thread that Canvid could be worth checking out if you're after something a bit more advanced.
