I've got a 165Hz 1080p monitor that I'm currently using with my laptop, but I'm looking to build a new gaming PC. My last build was about 14 years ago, so I'm out of the loop on the latest components. I want to achieve at least 120+ FPS without running into any bottlenecks. My preference is for Nvidia graphics cards. Also, I don't really have a budget in mind since currency doesn't matter, but I'd like to keep costs low while still getting good performance. Any suggestions?

To help you get started, here's a solid AMD build: Use an R7 7700 with a 5070 GPU (or something similar). For memory, go for 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz. A 1TB SSD is great for speed, whether you choose Gen 3 or Gen 4. You’ll need a B850+ motherboard and an NZXT H510 Flow case to keep it all cool. A 750W PSU should cover your power needs, and consider adding a CPU cooler if you plan to overclock. Optional extra fans or an HDD could come in handy for more storage. This setup should get you well over 120 FPS in your games at 1080p without any issues. Just tweak the components based on what's available and affordable for you!

That sounds like a solid build! If you want to stick with Nvidia, the 5070 is a good choice, but check for newer models too. You might find a better deal or something more powerful!
