What Should I Consider Upgrading Along with My New GPU?

I recently bought a 9070xt to upgrade from a 3060ti. My current setup includes an i5-12600kf CPU, 16GB of 3200MHz RAM, and a H610M-K motherboard, plus either a 750W or 850W power supply. I'm using a 1080p 165Hz monitor. A bottleneck calculator suggests I'll have a 15% bottleneck. I'm not keen on upgrading any components unless absolutely necessary since I'd rather save some cash. The reason for the upgrade is that I want to play Monster Hunter Wilds smoothly without relying on frame generation, especially after seeing the specs for Doom Dark Ages which made the 3060ti feel a bit outdated. I appreciate any advice!

If you're looking to really make the most of your new GPU, think about getting a 27-inch 1440p monitor. That way, you can fully utilize the new graphics power you’ve got! But other than that, your current components should hold up fine for now.

Just a heads up, Monster Hunter Wilds is pretty CPU-intensive, so don't be too worried if performance isn't perfect. It actually can benefit from frame generation, so keep that in mind too!

Consider adding more RAM if you like to have multiple programs running at once. It can make a big difference in multitasking performance.

A solid upgrade would definitely be to get a decent 1440p monitor to match your GPU. Other hardware can wait a bit.

Honestly, I'd skip using bottleneck calculators since they often give random results. When you're ready to spend again, consider upgrading your motherboard, CPU, and RAM together. For now, just enjoy your new GPU!
