What Should I Do About a Crack in My Laptop After Dropping It?

I accidentally dropped my Lenovo IdeaPad S145 while trying to set it on my desk, and now there's a crack near the charging port. Every time I open or close the laptop, the crack seems to get wider. I really need this laptop to last for at least another year or two. Is there anything I can do to prevent the damage from worsening?

Check out this guide on iFixit for help with your Lenovo IdeaPad: [iFixit Guide](https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Lenovo+IdeaPad+S145-14IWL+Lower+Case+Replacement/180550). You can find replacement parts on Amazon or eBay if needed. But just so you know, if the crack is on the frame near the charging port, those might not help since it's the upper side that's damaged.

The bottom's okay; I dropped it at an angle, so the frame is cracked near the charging port on top.

It might help if you can post a picture of the crack so we can see what you're dealing with. Sometimes, visual context makes a big difference in understanding the damage better!

Here's a picture when the laptop is open and you can see the crack. Sorry for the quality and the dust, but I tried using some tape to hold it, and it didn't work too well.
