I've been having issues with my laptop's CPU fan, and it's officially dead. I'm a college student facing finals in 10 days, and I really need my laptop for studying; my phone just won't cut it. The CPU fan doesn't spin at all, but the GPU fan is still working fine. When I keep my laptop in turbo mode for light tasks, the CPU temp goes up to 60-67°C, and with some light gaming, it hits about 80°C max.
The laptop is still under warranty, but the repair service said it could take anywhere from two weeks to a month. I'm currently using a cheap cooling pad for help, but I'm wondering if it's safe to continue using my laptop until the end of September, then send it in for repairs. My laptop model is an Asus TUF Gaming A15 FA506, if that makes a difference.

Honestly, 80°C is generally fine for most CPUs, and a lot of people say even 90°C is okay. Just make sure to replace the fan when it’s convenient for you, maybe after your exams. But keep an eye on those temps!
Your CPU can handle those temps, but remember that other components rely on proper cooling too. It's probably best to avoid any heavy gaming until after your finals. And definitely back up all your important work just in case!
Wait, who has finals in September? That’s unusual! Make sure you're prepping well, but don't stress too much about the fan unless it starts overheating more than that. You should be fine for now!

Yeah, I'm just worried because I saw someone on a forum saying I should get it fixed ASAP. Should I really wait?
