What should I do about my defective iPhone 17 Pro Max?

I recently bought the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but it's defective because the main speaker isn't producing any sound. Apple has informed me that they're out of stock everywhere and can't replace my phone for at least three weeks due to high demand. I feel frustrated because by the time they have stock again, I'll have missed the 14-day replacement period that I'm entitled to. It seems unfair that they prioritize selling all their units instead of keeping some for situations like mine.

It’s definitely frustrating to be in this situation. You should consider returning the phone while you’re still within the return window. If that’s not possible, you can file a claim for a faulty product now instead of waiting for them to restock. They can start the replacement process for you regardless of stock availability.

I see your point, but I’m traveling soon, and I won’t have a working phone! It feels unfair that I have to wait weeks for a replacement when I paid full price for a faulty unit. It should be quicker, especially since it's such an essential device.
