I just completed building my new computer, but unfortunately, one of my RAM sticks turned out to be defective. I bought two CL30 6000 sticks, and while they worked for a short time, one completely failed. I got them from an online store, but now the specific RAM stick is sold out, so finding a replacement might be tricky. My new build is powered by a 9800X3D and a 9070XT, but I'm stuck with just 16 GB of RAM right now. What do you all suggest I do next?

If you're completely sure the RAM stick is defective, it's best to return it and request a refund or a replacement. Even if it was somehow damaged during installation, check the warranty details; you might still have options. Until you resolve the issue, 16GB will work, but it's below the recommended amount for optimal performance. Hang in there!

But RAM prices are really high right now. Is it worth the hassle and possible delay to get a replacement?
