Hey everyone, I've got a bit of a mess on my hands. I recently got a fake job offer that seemed legit at first. Unfortunately, I sent them a photo of my ID, not realizing it was a scam until a few days later. Now, I'm worried because they won't delete my ID even if I ask them to. What options do I have to resolve this situation?

Honestly, there’s really not much you can do here. You can’t force them to delete that image. It’s a tough lesson in being cautious online. Maybe check out some resources on identifying phishing scams to avoid this in the future?

Yeah, it’s a bummer, but you really don’t have any options to remove the email from their end. Just keep your fingers crossed that they don’t misuse your information. In the future, be really careful about where you send your personal details!

Wow, that's a tough spot to be in. Just to clarify, you shared your ID via email, right? Unfortunately, once you send something over email, there's no way to delete it from their inbox. It doesn’t have much to do with your Android device, but be careful about what you share in the future!
