I recently spotted a Windows 10 device labeled "Desktop-xxxxxx" associated with my Apple ID, and it really freaked me out. This is particularly concerning because there's someone I have a restraining order against who could potentially have access to it. After finding this, I immediately removed the device and reset all my accounts to be safe. I'm wondering if this means that the device was actively signed in and had access to my information, including my location? Also, would a device like this show up under my Apple ID just because they had the iCloud app installed, or could it be linked to something like Apple TV? Any insights on this would be really appreciated!

It's likely that the person was signed into your Apple ID on their Windows device through the "Find My" feature. If that was the case, they could have had access to some of your information. Make sure you've reset all your passwords and enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security. It's a good step to take!
Got it! I definitely reset everything right away. Should I assume that this device had access to my location since it was linked to my account? Thanks a bunch for your help!
