I recently noticed some command prompts popping up when my computer boots up. I'm not sure what's going on, and I'm feeling a bit worried. Should I be concerned, and what steps should I take to make sure my computer is safe?

Check your task manager to see what programs are starting up with Windows. If you find anything suspicious, you can disable it and then run a scan with Malwarebytes to clean up any potential threats.
Good call! It's always wise to know what's running on your system.
Seeing those prompts can definitely be unsettling. Just make sure your antivirus is up-to-date and scan your system. Better safe than sorry!
I see those command prompts all the time too! I think it’s just something like iCue that runs on my machine. If you’re not using any particular software that's causing it, it’s probably harmless.
It sounds like it could be a system update or something similar, but just to be safe, I recommend installing Malwarebytes and running a full scan. It's a great tool for catching any unwanted software.
Don't worry too much; sometimes those command prompts are just Microsoft processes doing their thing in the background. Still, a scan wouldn't hurt to be on the safe side!
If you’re really concerned, maybe you should just repent and get baptized, haha! But seriously, a good antivirus scan is always smart.
Thanks for the tip! I'll check the task manager next time.
