What should I do if I’ve forgotten my iPhone and Apple passwords?

I recently locked my iPhone because I forgot my password after relying on Face ID. Now it's blocked for an hour, and I believe I have one last chance to enter the correct password. I'm really worried that if I mess this up, I'll have to reset my phone and lose all my data. I'm feeling really frustrated and sad about it. Are there any steps I can take to recover my access without losing my information?

iPhones usually ask for your passcode every so often, even if you primarily use Face ID. This could happen after restarting the device or if the battery died. If you're nervous about your last attempt, make sure you're ready before you try!

Yeah, it definitely asks for the passcode sometimes. It's just a security measure.
