What should I do if my charger stopped working after tea spilled on it?

I'm in a bit of a bind! My uncle accidentally spilled tea on the floor near my charger and socket, and I later realized my laptop was discharged because the charger isn't working anymore. I tried wiping it down, but no luck so far. It's really urgent since I need my computer for a school oral exam. I've had this charger for about two and a half years, and it's been great. What should I do? Should I try to fix it or replace it?

It’s typically best to replace a charger that has been exposed to liquid, especially since it might not be safe to use even if it seems to be functioning now. Liquid damage can lead to hidden issues.

I tried using it again after cleaning and it worked fine in the morning. Should I still consider replacing it just to be safe?
