I'm in the final stages of building my PC, and the last hurdle is installing my GPU (RTX 5070Ti Gigabyte Windforce SFF OC). However, when I try to fit it into my Lian Li Lancool 207 case, it's hitting the metal on the right side of the motherboard and won't fully seat in the PCIe slot. I could try moving the motherboard out a little by unscrewing it, but then I won't be able to screw the GPU into the case, which seems risky. Am I left with the choice of buying a new case or trying to mount the GPU vertically? Is vertical mounting a good idea?

It sounds like your card should technically fit since it's 304mm and your case supports up to 375mm. Are you sure you’re not trying to use the bottom PCIe slot? That could be causing the blockage from the PSU shroud. Just double-check that you have the motherboard standoffs properly installed; if they aren't, that might be what’s throwing off the fit.
Yeah, sounds like a standoff issue. Unfortunately, if the standoffs are in the right place and it's still hitting, you might have to either angle it carefully or really consider a different case.
