I just built my first PC and I'm a total novice. I managed to get it to post, but my keyboard and mouse aren't working at all, so I can't do anything. I've tried resetting the CMOS, and I've tested all the USB ports, but none of them seem to recognize my devices. I'm using a basic $10 mouse and some no-name Bluetooth keyboard and mouse that I connected via a USB cable. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

What kind of keyboard and mouse are you using? Some cheaper Bluetooth or wireless devices might not work in the BIOS because they require drivers that only load in Windows. If you can, try to get a wired keyboard to see if that helps. It might make a big difference!
Make sure your RAM is installed in the correct slots! You should position them in either B1 and B2 or A1 and A2. It needs to be alternating, so if you have RAM in both slots without gaps, it could cause issues. Just a thought!
I didn’t realize that! My motherboard only has two RAM slots, though. Is that a problem?
They're both just some cheap Bluetooth models. I connected them using a USB cable, but they're still not responding.
