Hey everyone! I dropped my phone in water, and I'm not very tech-savvy. I tried to dry it out as much as possible and even shook it to get the moisture out of the ports. I also attempted to turn it on to see if it still works, but the screen won't turn on and now it's making constant beeping sounds. I'm really worried that I might have damaged it permanently. Is there anything I can do, or is my phone done for?

You really should have left it to dry out for a couple of days before trying to turn it on. It's a common mistake, but turning on electronic devices while they're wet can lead to serious damage. If it’s beeping now, it might be fried, but you can try waiting a few days to see if it recovers after it has dried completely. Fingers crossed for you!
Honestly, it sounds like you might have damaged it. Once you turn on a wet device, it often leads to further issues. It's best to leave it off and let it dry without powering it up for a while. Many people have had luck after letting their devices dry out completely, so keep your hopes up!
