I've created this A-level maths website partly as a fun project and partly to ensure that the decade's worth of maths questions I've written as a teacher don't go to waste. It's getting about 20,000 pages viewed each month, which I'm pretty proud of, even if it's not huge. I'm curious about what steps I could take next with this project if it were yours. The site is mainly built with PHP, includes a bit of JavaScript, and has my own custom CMS since I found updating Drupal to be a bit frustrating.

Just a quick tip—make sure your site has a pointer cursor effect on the big blue boxes. It’s not obvious they’re links right now, which could confuse some visitors.
Are you looking for ways to improve the site, monetize it, or possibly promote it more?
Right now, it mostly just costs me money, and I'd love to find ways to start monetizing it, ideally without resorting to ads. I want to maintain that 'it's just maths' vibe, but I’m not sure how to encourage the 16-19 crowd to support it.
Instead of ads, think about different products or services you could offer, like math tutoring, personalized workbooks, or advanced exam prep help. It might benefit you to talk to your visitors to find out what they really need and if there’s something you could create that would actually help them and be worth paying for.
Great suggestions! I appreciate you taking the time to share them!
Honestly, A-level students probably aren’t inclined to pay for anything, so I’d suggest targeting their parents. You could offer personalized tutoring services or sell custom study plans that help students stay accountable. This way, you appeal to the parents who are more likely to spend money on their education.
I've been brainstorming some ideas, and while I'm enjoying seeing how the site gets used, I love getting insights like this from others.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely make that change!
