What Should I Upgrade First: CPU or GPU?

I'm currently using a Ryzen 7 3800X and a 3060 Ti, paired with a 650W PSU. My budget for an upgrade is around 550 euros since I'm in Belgium. I'm open to getting used components, but I'm not keen on buying a used PSU or motherboard. I need advice on what to prioritize for upgrades—should I go for a better CPU or GPU?

If you're sticking with the AM4 socket, consider getting the 5700X3D; it could boost your performance by 15% to 30% in some games. For GPUs, keep an eye out for used options like the 4070, 7700 XT, 3080 12GB, or even the 3090, which all fit into your budget. If you're willing to sell your 3060 Ti (and possibly the old CPU), a new 5060 Ti 16GB or the 7700 XT would also be smart moves.

You have a couple of paths you could take: 1) Upgrade to a newer motherboard and CPU combo, like Intel’s LGA 1700 with a 14400F, or go for an AM5 setup with an entry-level Ryzen 5. Pair that with an Intel ARC B580 12GB. 2) Alternatively, you can stick with your current 3700X and aim for an RTX 5070, which you might find for 550 euros if you search hard enough.
