What Should I Upgrade First in My Gaming PC?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on how to upgrade my gaming PC without overspending. My current setup is still going strong, but I want to get the most performance boost possible. Here are my specs:

- **CPU:** Intel Core i5-12400F (Alder Lake, 10nm)
- **RAM:** 32GB @ 3000MHz (unknown brand)
- **Motherboard:** ASUS ROG STRIX B660-F GAMING WIFI (LGA1700)
- **GPU:** Gigabyte RTX 3080 10GB
- **Monitors:** 1080p@60Hz and 1440p@165Hz
- **Storage:** 1TB SSD, 500GB SSD, 2TB SSD
- **PSU:** Corsair RM1000
- **Case:** Asus TUF Gaming GT50

I mainly game at 1440p and also work quite a bit with Blender, so I'd like to stay with NVIDIA for driver support. Any advice on sensible upgrades that won't break the bank?

Thanks for all the great suggestions! From what I’m gathering, the best move is to either swap out the motherboard or do a straight CPU upgrade. I already have an AIO cooler, but maybe I should upgrade that too. I’m looking to eventually get a 5070 Ti or 5080 when the new generation launches. Should I just jump to AMD while changing both motherboard and CPU?
