I've been using the same PC for several years and think it's time for an upgrade. My current setup has a GeForce GTX 1660 Super, a Ryzen 5 1600X, and an AB350-Gaming 3-C motherboard. I was considering a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, but I'm not sure whether there are better options for less than €700. What would you recommend upgrading, and are there any compatibility concerns I should consider?

Before recommending specific parts, it would help to know what you use the PC for and your total budget. A gaming build, content-creation system, and general-use PC could all have different upgrade priorities. With a budget under €700, you may also want to compare the 3070 Ti with newer or better-value graphics cards rather than choosing it automatically.
If you want to keep using the AM4 platform, check your motherboard’s BIOS support and update it before replacing the processor. An AM4 Ryzen 5000-series CPU could be a much better match for a modern graphics card than the current Ryzen 5 1600X, helping avoid a major CPU bottleneck without requiring a completely new motherboard and memory.

My budget is under €700. I’m not very familiar with the term “use case,” but I mainly want a general PC upgrade and was thinking about starting with the graphics card.
