What Should I Upgrade for Better FPS in CS2?

I'm playing CS2 and facing low FPS issues. My current setup includes an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, 32GB of DDR4 RAM running at 1066MHz, a Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE motherboard, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, and a 1TB Samsung SSD. I recently got two 240Hz monitors and I'm only hitting about 140 FPS in competitive matches, which isn't enough for my goals. I'm looking to upgrade my components, ideally with a budget of around €1350 ($1550 USD), but I'd prefer to spend less if possible. Any suggestions on what I should consider upgrading?

It looks like your RAM is really holding you back with that low speed. If you enable DOCP or EXPO on your motherboard, you could potentially bump it up to the rated speed, which should significantly improve performance. Faster RAM can help you reach closer to 240 FPS, especially with your setup!

I totally agree, the RAM speed is a bottleneck here. Upgrading to faster RAM will definitely help with FPS. Just make sure it’s compatible with your motherboard! You should also consider your GPU performance in relation to the new monitors since you're aiming for higher frame rates. Your current RTX 4060 may struggle under those conditions.

Yeah, I didn’t think about the GPU; what do you recommend for a solid upgrade?
