I have a gaming PC with the following specs:

- CPU: i5-7600k
- Motherboard: Z270-A Pro
- Cooler: Hyper 212
- GPU: GTX 1070
- SSD: 850 Evo 256GB
- PSU: Corsair CS550M
- RAM: 16GB HyperX Fury (2x8GB)
- Mouse: Logitech G102
- Case: Corsair 270R
- HDD: Barracuda 2TB

I'm looking for advice on what I should upgrade first to play the latest games at High or Ultra settings at 1080p resolution. Any suggestions?

I recently upgraded a similar setup, moving from a 7700k paired with a GTX 1070 to an i5 13400f and a 5060ti. I spent around $500 and reused some of my components. If you’re focusing on 1080p, just make sure to get a solid CPU that can handle modern titles, as it will help avoid any bottlenecking, but you could stick to your current CPU for now if you want to save money.

The GPU is definitely the first thing you should upgrade. With your current setup, if the graphics card isn't up to par, you might run into performance issues with newer games. Do you have a specific budget in mind for the upgrade?
