I'm trying to decide what upgrades to make for my PC, which has the following specs: Intel i5 10400F (stock cooler), Gugabytr B460m DS3H motherboard, 32GB DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz (though it's limited to 2666MHz because of the motherboard), a Gigabyte RX 7800XT GPU, a WD Black SN7100 SSD (stuck at 3500MB/s due to motherboard limitations), and an unused HDD. I primarily play CPU-intensive games at 1440p, such as Assetto Corsa (with mods), Assetto Corsa Competizione, War Thunder, Apex Legends, and Squad. I've noticed my CPU is starting to show its age and is bottlenecking performance during gaming, especially after some scares regarding potential issues with my RAM and motherboard. I'd like some advice on whether it's worth upgrading my hardware. My options include: buying a used B560/Z490/Z590 motherboard to unlock better speeds for my parts; switching to AM4 with a B550 or X570 motherboard and an AMD CPU for likely better performance; or going for AM5, which has higher costs due to RAM prices. I'm also considering a cheap CPU cooler to help my current setup. Any thoughts on whether these upgrades would be worth it?
