What should I upgrade my old GPU to for better performance?

I'm looking to upgrade my 10-year-old GPU and I'm a bit lost on what to choose. Here's my current PC build: I've got an Intel Core i5-14400F CPU, an MSI B760M motherboard, and 32GB of DDR5 memory. I'm hoping to find a new GPU that balances well with this setup. I've been considering the Founders Edition 3070 Ti, but I've heard there may be better options out there. My budget is around 250-270 euros, but I'm mostly focused on getting the best raw power for my games. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

I know this isn't exactly what you're asking for, but I noticed you're using single-channel RAM. That could limit your PC's performance! It might be worth looking into getting two identical sticks for dual-channel to really boost your system's efficiency.

If you're looking for something powerful, I’d suggest the 9060 XT with 16GB. It packs a punch for the price!

But if you're considering options without breaking the bank, the RX 9070 could also be a great choice, just keep in mind it's on the pricier side.

Yeah, the 9060 XT might be a bit expensive, but worth it if you want solid performance.

What’s your budget? Since you're upgrading, remember most components are reusable except the GPU, right? I'm curious about your exact budget, as it can help narrow down the options!

Yes, everything else is reusable, and my budget is between 250-270 euros!

Nice, that gives you a decent range to work with, good luck!

You might want to check out the RTX 5060. Most gamers on Steam are playing at 1080p with around 8GB VRAM, so that could fit your needs pretty well!

But if you're spending that much, consider options with 12 or 16GB of VRAM. They can often be found for just a little more!

Exactly! It’s better to future-proof yourself if you can.
