I'm currently running an AMD Ryzen 5 4600G with Radeon Graphics at 3.70GHz, along with 16GB of RAM and an 8GB NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super GPU. I installed the GPU from my new PC since this one originally didn't have one. The issue is, I'm getting only around 100 FPS on CS2 with mainly low settings and no background tasks running, which seems surprisingly low for this setup. I was thinking about upgrading the RAM and maybe adding another 500GB of storage, but I also wonder if the CPU is holding me back too. I'm interested in what you all think—what should I focus on upgrading?

Your GPU is solid, but the Ryzen 4600G is likely bottlenecking your performance. It's designed for systems without a dedicated GPU, so pairing it with a 2070 Super is definitely limiting your gaming performance, especially in games like CS2. Upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600 would probably give you a noticeable performance boost without needing to change much else right now. Your RAM and SSD seem fine, they aren’t the main culprits for the lag you're experiencing.
This might sound a bit off-topic, but you should definitely check the speed of your RAM and consider enabling D.O.C.P. in your BIOS if it’s not set up already. It’s surprising how much RAM configuration can impact your system's overall performance! If your RAM isn’t running at its optimal speeds, that could definitely be a reason you're not hitting those expected FPS numbers.
