What Should I Worry About After Visiting a Scam Website?

So I accidentally clicked on a link my friend sent me, only to realize later that it led to a scam website. My friend warned me right after I opened it, but I'd already been on the site for a couple of minutes. Now I'm a bit anxious about what kind of information they might have collected from me. Is it necessary for me to change my passwords or take any other precautions?

Honestly, you probably don't need to worry too much. As long as you didn't download anything or enter any personal information, you're likely fine.

But what if it downloaded something without me knowing? Google can automatically allow downloads, right? What kind of access could it get with JavaScript?
