I want something that can retrieve emails from an Office 365 account to create tickets, has a simple web form for submitting requests, allows manual entry, and supports attachments. I also want to avoid any unnecessary features like AI or chatbots since I'm working with limited time. My goal is to create a centralized place for all requests so nothing slips through the cracks. For simplicity and effectiveness, I recommend osTicket. It checks all the boxes you've mentioned and is user-friendly.
Spiceworks is a free option, and I've also had good experiences with BMC Trackit! It's reasonably priced and works well. Plus, it integrates nicely with Active Directory, which sounds like it could fit your needs.
Have you considered using Power Automate with Lists? It's quite easy to set up, but keep in mind that handling attachments can be a bit tricky.
I suggest giving Zammad a try. It's easy to use and being open-source is a big plus. Plus, it really covers a lot of ground for ticket management, so it could serve your purpose well!
