I initially spec'd out a setup with a Ryzen 7800X3D and a 9060 XT 16GB, along with a 2TB SSD for just over $2000. I'm curious if I really need the 7800X3D or if I'm allocating my budget effectively. Honestly, you’ll probably get more value with a Ryzen 9700X and a stronger GPU. Don't hesitate to downgrade the CPU a bit to fit the 9070 XT into your budget—it's a good trade-off!
You might want to consider going for a 9070 XT instead of the 9060. It's better suited for 1440p gaming. Just my two cents! Also, if you're primarily gaming on a 65" TCL QM6K TV, that could affect how you approach this build. Might not need an overkill CPU with that.
