What SSD and RAM Should I Get for My Gaming PC Upgrade?

I'm looking to upgrade my gaming setup because my current specs are really holding me back. I had a 1TB HDD and 8GB of RAM, but I want to switch to an SSD for faster load times and upgrade to 16GB of RAM. I have an RX 6600 GPU, a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, and my motherboard is an MSI A320M-A Pro. Can anyone recommend some reliable and affordable SSDs and RAM that fit these specs without breaking the bank? My budget is around £100.

If you're on a strict budget, try keeping an eye out for deals on used components. Sometimes you can find secondhand RAM or SSDs in great condition that are way cheaper. Just make sure they're compatible with your setup!

Good idea! I’ll definitely check out some secondhand options to save some cash.

First off, since you have a Ryzen 5 5600 and an MSI A320M-A Pro, you're in a good spot for upgrades! For RAM, I recommend looking for 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 sticks. Brands like Corsair and G.Skill usually offer good options. For SSDs, something like the Crucial MX500 or a Samsung 860 EVO would work well; they're both reliable and offer solid performance without being too pricey.

Yeah, I’ve heard great things about the Crucial ones! I’d also suggest checking for sales or combos that might get you the best bang for your buck.
