What SSD Should I Get for My Old Laptop?

Hey everyone! I have a 4-year-old Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 with an Intel Core i3, and it's been pretty slow lately. I've upgraded the RAM to the max it can handle, but it still struggles, especially when I have multiple Chrome tabs open. I'm looking to speed it up by adding an SSD, but I'm not sure which type would work with my laptop. I came across a video that suggested a 250 GB NVMe SSD, but I'm not sure if that's compatible. Can anyone help me figure out what SSD I should look for? Thanks a ton! 🙏

It looks like your laptop can take a 2.5" SATA SSD. That's a solid choice for boosting your speed! You might want to check the Lenovo forums too; they could give you detailed info about whether your model has an M.2 NVMe slot as well.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll definitely ask there. For M.2, how can I check if it's available on my board? Do I need to open it up again?
