What to Consider When Upgrading a Used PC I’m Thinking of Buying?

I'm planning to buy a used PC from a marketplace listing. The seller says it has all the necessary components but just needs some cords and a data wipe. I'm on a limited budget and would appreciate advice on what essentials I should consider upgrading once I get it. Any specific parts or upgrades you recommend?

Honestly, if you can negotiate it down to around $90, that's not too bad. Just make sure you check the internals. If you want to upgrade later, a good budget card would be the GT 1030, but only if you get one that's a bit higher quality to handle some gaming decent enough. Just be careful with each purchase you make on upgrades.

You should really figure out what parts are included in the PC. If it's got an AMD Ryzen 3 CPU and something like a GTX 1050 or RX 460, you're in decent shape for budget gaming. But seriously, if you haven't bought it yet, maybe hold off and see if you can find something more up to your needs first, rather than jumping in.

Yeah, I did find out that it’s got an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 and a GTX 1050 with 8GB of RAM. I'm just not sure yet how far I can push the upgrades on this.

It's tough to give targeted advice without details like specs or photos of the PC you're looking at. When you're considering upgrades, knowing what you're starting with is crucial. If you can, try to find out the exact parts included and share them. Starting off with a clear picture can really help!
