What to Do About Suspicious Popups on Startup?

Every time I start my computer, I get a PowerShell prompt asking to make changes. It claims to be from Windows, but I'm not sure. Additionally, another popup mentions something called "windowsboatfourworkstation" that also wants to make changes. My antivirus says everything's fine, but I'm still worried about potential issues. What steps should I take to ensure my computer is safe, and what exactly are these popups? I'm running OS build 26200.8037.

That sounds a bit questionable! First, try checking your Task Manager. Head to the 'Startup' tab, right-click on any suspicious entry, and choose 'Open file location' to see what's behind it. Sometimes, it might be related to software you forgot you installed. Also, I'd recommend running a scan with Malwarebytes as a backup—regular antivirus software can miss certain threats.

Just to add to that, if you're unsure about what you find, take a screenshot of it and check online to see if it's a known threat. Malwarebytes does have a free version, so it’s worth trying that out if you want an extra layer of protection.
