What to Do If Edge and Steam Won’t Open Properly?

I've been having issues with my PC where certain applications, specifically Edge and Steam, just won't open properly. It started when I was playing Space Marine 2 and tried to alt-tab to put on some music in Edge. The window didn't fully pop up; it just got stuck in the hotbar. After that, I rebooted my PC, but now I can't get Edge or Steam to display at all. Other applications like Discord, Opera, and various games are functioning fine. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any advice on how to fix this?

It sounds like when you open Steam or Edge, they might be minimized or just not displaying correctly. You might try right-clicking the icons in the hotbar and selecting 'Maximize' to see if that forces them to show up. If that doesn't work, you could also try resetting your display settings or checking to see if the windows are opening off-screen.

Another thing to check is whether these applications are running in compatibility mode. Sometimes settings get toggled accidentally, which can cause display issues. Right-click the application shortcut, go to 'Properties', and make sure there's no compatibility mode selected. If there is, uncheck that and try launching them again.
