What to Do If I Messed Up My GRUB File in Nano?

I was trying to change the GRUB timeout using instructions I found online, but I ended up repeatedly inserting the file instead of saving the changes correctly. I think I've removed all the extra stuff I added, but I'm not entirely sure. Is there a way to restore the GRUB file to its original state after I've saved it? My system is Parrot OS.

Check the /boot directory first; sometimes the package manager creates backups of GRUB. You can open it with text viewing tools if you find any old versions to compare. Let me know if you need help with that!

When I looked in /boot, I found directories like grub and some images but didn't see a backup. What exactly should I be looking for?
