I had an unfortunate incident with an orange yesterday, and some juice got on my Late 2011 MacBook Pro. I estimate it's about a cup's worth, but I think it mostly got under the spacebar. I've kept it on the fan for around 27 hours, but I just realized I didn't disconnect the battery yet because I can't open it myself. My hands are usually dirty, and I'm worried about damaging it further. I don't have the funds for isopropyl alcohol, and my area lacks tech help. Do you think another 24+ hours drying it out will save it? Am I facing a dead laptop? Any tips?

I get that your hands are dirty, but you really should try washing them before dealing with your laptop! It's super important to be clean when handling devices.
This sounds like a troll post, but just so you know, isopropyl alcohol isn’t that expensive. It’s around $4.77 at Walmart. It might be worth a quick run.
So, where exactly did the juice get in? Like the keyboard or somewhere else? If it’s under the spacebar, it could be a problem, but it’s not the end of the world yet.
I'll check out 7-Eleven to see if they have it. Just to be sure, 70% isopropyl should be enough, right? That's what I've heard.
An entire cup? Wow! Did you use a juicer or just bite into it? Anyway, if it’s more like a couple drops, that’s definitely a good sign. Keep it drying.
