Hey everyone, I recently switched to a new iPad, and in the rush of setting it up, I completely forgot to turn on Find My iPad. Now, I've misplaced my iPad and I'm worried. I do have AppleCare+, but since I didn't activate Find My, I'm not sure if I can get any help or if they'll even assist me in this situation. Has anyone here faced something similar?

Yeah, it’s a tough spot. When you sign up for AppleCare for Theft and Loss, they do make it clear that Find My iPad needs to be activated for claims. Sorry to hear about your situation!

Unfortunately, Apple can't activate Find My iPad for you if you forgot to turn it on. You won't be able to file a theft or loss claim through their standard process either, since they require Find My to be enabled beforehand.
