I accidentally bumped my PC, and the screen went completely black for a moment—it felt like a full crash. After I rebooted, everything seemed to work fine (no beeps or error LEDs). I have an RTX 5080 and a Corsair RM1000 PSU. I wondered if it could be GPU sag, but a level app on my phone showed the card is perfectly flat. My GPU support stand is currently not installed because it's too tall. Could this have been caused by a bad connection somewhere, like a loose PCIe slot or power cable?

It sounds like a physical connection might have been temporarily disrupted. If everything is working fine now, I wouldn’t stress too much about it. Just keep an eye on it.
But don’t forget, if you’ve had blackscreen issues before, it could be a sign of an underlying problem that needs checking out.

Haha, I’ve been there! I bumped my PC once and thought it was dead because a cable came loose. My friend helped me out after a week of panic by just plugging it back in—so frustrating!
