What to do with a damaged DIMM slot?

I was trying to unclip my RAM, but I accidentally pressed down on a part of the motherboard located behind it. Now my PC won't turn on and shows an orange DRAM light. It only boots up with one RAM stick in the slot that I didn't press on. Should I just game with one RAM stick, use the other two slots, or do I need to get a new motherboard?

After you pressed down on the motherboard, did you check if the RAM stick itself got damaged? Sometimes it's not the DIMM slot, but the RAM that might be the issue. It would be good to test swapping the known good RAM stick with the potentially bad one to see if the PC starts. If it does, your RAM might be okay after all. Otherwise, you can try putting both working sticks in the other slots and see how that works for you.
