I'm trying to polish up my resume and I keep coming across this term "tools I've used". From an IT perspective, what exactly does that mean? For example, should I include tools like Wireshark, O365, or PRTG? I'm a bit confused about this terminology and what would be applicable to mention.

If you're preparing for an interview, definitely mention the various tools you’ve used, but also ask the interviewer if they have any specific scenarios they want to discuss. For your resume, list the tools that are most relevant to the job posting. Organize them by importance and consider splitting them into sections to keep it concise and easy to read.

When they ask about tools, they’re really asking for the software and applications you've worked with. Just like you mentioned, tools like Wireshark, O365, and PRTG are all relevant. When discussing your experience, just start with the tool you used and explain how it helped you solve a problem or improve a process.
