I've had my PC for about a year and I'm really happy with it, but I'm thinking of upgrading a part as a treat for myself. Here are the components I'm currently using: GIGABYTE B650 AORUS motherboard, AMD RYZEN 7 7800X3D processor, NZXT KRAKEN ELITE RGB cooler, RTX 4080 SUPER graphics card, CORSIAR RM1200X power supply, T-FORCE DELTA RGB 64GB RAM, and a SAMSUNG 990 PRO 2 TB SSD. What do you think I should upgrade?

If you're playing at 1440p or 4K, you're set for a good while. Only upgrade to a 5090 if you find yourself limited, but remember not to game at 1080p with that 7800X3D, as it may bottleneck your performance.

True, but if you feel storage is running low, you could always add some more SSDs!

Seriously, your build is well-rounded. Unless you're hitting storage limits or want that 5090, you can wait a few years before needing an upgrade.

Honestly, you might not need to upgrade anything right now! Your setup is pretty solid. If you're looking for a tangible improvement, consider upgrading to an RTX 5090 in the future. That would give you a nice boost.

Yeah, unless you really feel the need for more power, your current specs are quite future-proof!
