What upgrades make sense for my HP Omen 30L?

I bought an HP Omen 30L prebuilt around 2019–2020, and it has served me well, but I'd like to upgrade it over the next few months. I'm mainly considering a newer Wi-Fi card, graphics card, and power supply, though I'm open to other worthwhile improvements.

The system has a Ryzen 5 5600G, HP 8876 B550 motherboard, 16 GB of DDR4-3000 memory, an RTX 3060 12 GB, and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. It currently uses a Realtek RTL8822CE Wi-Fi 5 adapter. Gaming temperatures generally stay around 60–70°C and rarely exceed 80°C.

My total budget is roughly $800–$1,000 over several months, with about $200–$400 available for an immediate upgrade. I'm a casual gamer, so I'm looking for sensible improvements rather than top-tier parts or extremely high refresh rates. What should I upgrade first, and are there any compatibility issues with the Omen's motherboard, case, or power supply that I should check before buying parts?

Before choosing parts, document the exact hardware and take a clear photo of the inside of the case. A full hardware report is especially important here because HP prebuilts can use unusual power-supply connectors, limited case clearance, or proprietary mounting. Also confirm your budget and the resolution and refresh rate you game at. Those details will determine whether a graphics card upgrade is worthwhile and what wattage or connectors the replacement PSU needs.

Your current parts are still fairly balanced: the Ryzen 5 5600G and RTX 3060 should handle casual 1080p gaming well. I’d avoid buying a new PSU or graphics card until you identify the exact factory PSU model, available GPU space, and its power connectors. If the Wi-Fi connection is the main annoyance, replacing the RTL8822CE with a compatible Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E PCIe adapter is likely the simplest immediate improvement. Adding another 16 GB of matching DDR4 memory could also help with newer games and multitasking, assuming the system has room for it.
