What Upgrades Should I Choose for My Current PC Setup?

Hey everyone! I recently got a Gigabyte H410M H V3 motherboard with an Intel i3 10th Gen CPU and a GTX 1050ti from a friend. I'm looking to upgrade the CPU and GPU but I've heard some concerns about this motherboard's VRMs not being able to fully support higher-end processors like i7 or i9 without throttling. I'm considering the i5-10505 as a replacement. Based on that, what GPU would pair best with it? I'm specifically thinking about the RTX 3070, RX 6700, or RX 6800 (I want at least 12GB of VRAM). My goal is to maximize this build for daily use and I primarily play games like Resident Evil, Call of Duty, Battlefield, GTA, and Red Dead Redemption on a 1080p monitor. Thanks for your help!

First off, what's your budget for these upgrades? That would help narrow down the options!

I'm looking to spend around €300 on a used GPU and about €200-300 for the CPU.

Honestly, with your budget, it might be better to overhaul the whole setup. You could probably find decent used parts. Consider grabbing an AM4 motherboard and a used CPU; then pair it with something like a 2080ti or maybe a 30 series card, if prices are good. Your current motherboard might be holding you back too much to get the performance you want.

So, would you say this motherboard is pretty much not worth it anymore?
