What upgrades should I consider for my PC to improve gaming performance?

I've been playing a lot more games lately, and I'm experiencing low FPS and can't run some of the newer titles on high settings. I mainly play competitive games like Apex Legends and The Finals, and I also enjoy story-driven games like Red Dead Redemption 2, The Last of Us, and Dying Light. My current specs are an Intel Core i7-10700F, an Nvidia RTX 3060, and 32GB of RAM. I'm not very knowledgeable about PC specs, so I'd like some recommendations on what I should upgrade. I don't have a strict budget, but I'd prefer to spend less if possible. I just want something better than what I currently have to run my games more smoothly.

Since you mentioned you're looking for substantial performance improvements, I recommend focusing on upgrading your GPU first. It should give you the most noticeable boost for gaming. If you’re looking at spending around 400-600 euros, you might be able to find a decent upgrade that’ll make a difference without overhauling your entire system. However, be sure to check what power supply you have so it can support a stronger GPU.

Totally get where you’re coming from! Your CPU is solid, but the RTX 3060 is likely the bottleneck for high settings. If you want to start with a GPU upgrade, that’s a smart move. Then, look into boosting your RAM later if you find you're still hitting snags with certain heavy games. Just keep in mind your case size and cooling when shopping for new components!
