I'm new to PC parts and I'm looking to upgrade my system to run newer games on ultra settings. Here are my current specs: I have a 12th gen i3-12100F processor (3.3 GHz, 4 cores), a GTX 1650 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a Gigabyte B660 DS3H AC DDR4 motherboard. What graphics card and processor upgrades would you suggest?

For the best performance, I'd recommend looking at the Intel i5-14600K or KF models for your CPU upgrade. As for RAM, consider going with 2x16GB sticks to reach 32GB in total. When it comes to the GPU, just go for the best one your budget allows! It will make a huge difference in gaming performance.

Yeah, having a budget really helps! You might want to look into those PCPartPicker links for practical pricing. It sounds like you're aiming for a solid upgrade path, and a good balance of CPU and GPU within that range will go a long way in future-proofing your setup!

Before diving in, could you share your budget? That's crucial for making the right recommendations. Generally, the most impactful upgrades for you would be the CPU and GPU. If your budget is around $500-700, you might consider options like a 7700XT or searching for a refurbished 6700-6750. Just keep in mind, you’ll want to check your power supply unit (PSU) to ensure it can handle the new components!
