I'm trying to recall the name of a hardware VPN replacement that plugged directly into our switch. It had a web interface for configuration, and each laptop used a client that checked its assigned group, which dictated how traffic was routed through this device back to our office network. I know it wasn't Cato Networking, and it sounds like it might fit the ZTNA or SASE categories. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you might be thinking of a network access control tool, similar to macmon or something like that.
