What’s a Budget-Friendly GPU Upgrade for a Dell OptiPlex 9010?

I'm new to PC upgrades and I'm considering enhancing my Dell OptiPlex 9010 desktop, which has an i5-3470 processor. Is it really necessary to upgrade, or can it hold its own? I feel like my setup is a bit outdated for gaming. Plus, I'm also curious about RAM specifications. I found some Micron 8GB DDR3 1600MHz PC3-12800 DIMM RAM that seems compatible. Is that a good choice, or should I look for something else? I'd prefer a cost-effective upgrade since this is just a temporary setup until I have more funds.

You can usually find cards like the 6600 or 5700 XT quite cheap second-hand, and they perform well for 1080p gaming.

Just a heads up, the PSU in the OptiPlex 9010 can struggle with cards over 75W. You'd be better off looking at something like a 1050 Ti or 1650.
